Downing Enterprises Awards Presentation

On December 23, 2014, Downing Enterprises recognized Cindy Smalley and Mark Corrigan with awards for outstanding customer service and sales achievement.

Cindy’s success is based on excellent customer care.  She has been with Downing since 2008 and in the tradeshow business for 25 years. Cindy is proud of the fact that more than half of her client base have been with her for decades.  She is also excited about several new customers that will be exhibiting at the upcoming NAFEM show.  With the Downing team supporting her efforts she has no trouble keeping her customers happy! Mark Corrigan has been with Downing for 19 years and specializes in both point-of-purchase and exhibit sales, He takes pride in providing extreme dedication to his clients. Mark services clients such as Vitamix, Trex, Royal Building Products, Thermatru Doors, Euclid Chemical, Tremco, Cub Cadet, Energizer. Mark lives in Medina and is married with two daughters and grandson. He enjoys art, movies, drums and basketball outside of work. Mark can be reached at

Downing Wins Three DOT Awards

For more than 20 years, the Design of the Times competition has honored hundreds of leading P-O-P and packaging design firms. On October 21, 2014, judges gathered at the Shopper Marketing Conference & Expo in Minneapolis to review and judge finalists in the DOT competition.

The winners were  selected and celebrated at the Design of the Times Awards Reception and Ceremony on October 22. Downing received two bronze awards and one silver award.

Downing Exhibits Sponsors the Love Akron Awards Breakfast


The third annual awards breakfast of the Love Akron Network was held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the John S. Knight Center in Akron, Ohio. Karen Gallaher, Mike Carano, Bridgett Shearer, Danielle Akins and Aaron Akins represented Downing Exhibits at the event which was attended by more than 600 guests.

The program of the awards breakfast recognized Judge Carla Moore, Dottie Achmoody and Perry Clark for their work in the community and to celebrate God’s call to serve the greater Akron area.

The Love Akron Network is a Christian, faith-based catalytic organization whose primary mission is to mobilize Christian leaders and people of good will to be servants to the city.
